Fused Glass Pendants

Fused glass pendants are made from several layers of glass cut and shaped, kiln fired and then sometimes ground, relayered and re kiln fired depending on the effect required.  Most of my pendants are quite simple and on the larger side of the size spectrum.

I wasn't sure how well the small slivers of dichro would work in this pictoral pendant but it came out just right. Finished off with a sterling cast star charm. 8 x 4.5 cm. A base of dark transparent blue with clear and black stringer on top of the dichro.

I have listed this with the long sterling chain because I think it is a piece best worn long over plain black. The black 5 cm square base was covered in 2 pieces of dark purple dichro and 2 pieces of white. A third piece of dichro was placed over the top and black stringers added over that.  Then I drilled a hole for the sterling silver grommetts and fired a third time. Very eye catching

Phosphorous Seas Fused Glass Pendant

11 x 3cm this long glass pendant is made with white and blue iridized glass. Frit has been sprinkled over he top and then the glass was set with5 red cubic zirconia. Finally a hole was drilled and capped with sterling caps and a fine silver koru added on a jump ring. This comes complete with a long sterling silver rope chain.
